Chinese green Jade carved expertly in square shaped plaque, depicted whirring five claws dragon borne upon cresting waves, with reverse alternately on reserve, showing two striding dragons within mountain rock work in gilt. Set within elaborately carved hardwood frame stand, formed by two scrolled feet, from which rise vertical posts flanked on either side with stylized archaic and rococo foliage relief motifs. The jade carving is exquisite, smooth, with beautiful translucent, with dark and lighter sporadic hues.
