ENGLAND, LATE 19TH CENTURY A Thomas Messenger and Sons Argand lamp. The lamp was manufactured for Alfred Wells & Co. of Boston, Massachusetts and exhibits a two tiered central column with hanging crystals. Two arms protrude from the bottom tier each supporting a bobeche socket.
