Description

Amos Sewell, (American illustrator 1901 - 1983) watercolor/gouache on artists board illustration of a father with son bidding farewell to wife. The work is unsigned . On the back there is an American Artist Co. stamp. There is also a tag attached that reads "For Publication in Redbook Magazine, Title of story A Trip on a Train, Artist Amos Sewell, No. 577-01, date of publication March 1947"
Measures 11" high by 18 1/4" wide. Very good condition with some marks and stains on the back. Total weight is a little under half a pound.
