Details: This lot consists of the antique rocking chair shown in the corresponding images.
This carved walnut sewing rocker was manufactured by Pelham, Shell, & Leckie in Montgomery, Alabama. The original manufacturer's tag can be found on the underside of the seat. The upholstery may be original, attached with brass tacks. Though diminutive in size, the chair is quite sturdy.

Condition / Notes: This piece, measuring approximately 17 1/4" x 15 1/2" x 34", may display some age/wear indications, including age toning of the fabric and minor nicks to the wood. No tears are observed in the upholstery. The chair is generally well preserved for its age.
