Chinese Ming Blue And White High Stem Cup:
Fine Chinese Ming blue and white porcelain high stem cup. The cup is deep with a slightly flared rim and stands on a tall foot. The exterior is decorated in blue and white hand painted lotus flowers and scrolling tendrils, multiple banded with various auspicious patterns. The central interior, decorated with four peonies in cobalt blue hand painting, bordered with double fine rings. The base of the cup, where it meets the foot, has a plantain border. Four character mark on rim.
