Description
First edition of the book DaÕat Kedoshim by Rabbi Yehuda Hirsch Eichenstein of Razdil, the book deals with kabbalah and chassidut and was first printed during the year of the authorÕs death, in Lviv, decorated with various endorsements, first and foremost from his father-in-law Rabbi Haim the Divrei Haim of Sanz.
Rabbi Yehuda Zvi Eichenstein of Radzil (1791-1848), son of Rabbi Moshe of Sambor and son-in-law of the Sar Beit HaZoharÑRabbi Zvi Hirsch of Zidichov, father-in-law of Rabbi Yehezkel Shraga, the Divrei Yehezkel of Sinoa, known for his great abstinence and complete disconnection from this world, his great work in the revealed and mystical Torah. It is accepted that this book was written when he was adorned in his tallit and tefillin while he remained locked in his room without distraction.
Generally good condition, binding is missing, pages disconnected, light moth marks.
