A small Edwardian silver and tortoiseshell trinket or jewellery box, the circular form having pique inlay with garlands swags to the tortoiseshell hinged cover opening to reveal a lined interior, the whole raised upon four pad feet. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1907. Maximum diameter measures 5.5 cm.

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor loss of definition around the feet. Hallmarks clear and legible.
