An early Victorian set of five silver dinner forks of Fiddle pattern with initialled terminals, hallmarked John & Henry Lias, London 1844. Length measures 8 inches (22.3 cm), weight 11.5 ozt (357.8 grams).
Condition
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Part set of five, probably originally part of a larger set. Back of each terminal initialled, possibly G E B. Some heavier scratches to the back end of the prongs, one slightly bent. Hallmarks clear and legible, some rubbing to the maker's marks.
