With heraldic bookplate on front pastedown, and period owner signature on front flyleaf. A lovely, and significant, edition of Walton's classic. The drawings by Wale have been re-engraved by Audinet, who also executed the seventeen "very excellent engravings of fish on copper which are found among the letter-press." Westwood & Satchell p.224.

Some wear and scuffing to binding; some fading to endpapers, hinges starting, light toning to pages; very good.
