Each document on recto of single sheet with docketing on verso, handwritten in brown ink. 24.6x20.4 cm (9¾x8").

The first document lists the funds put forward by the various colonies as requested by acts passed at the Continental Congress on Nov. 22, 1777 and May 21, 1779, with a total of $5,000,000 requested at the earlier date, and $45,000,000 at the latter, apportioned by state; the second details the number of troops furnished by each colony or state, divided by Continental and Militia.
