Item: Folk Art Fiddle or Violin Coffin Case

Date: Circa 1850 - 1865

Painted green with pin stripes. Square hand cut nails

Dimensions: 31.5 inches long x 10.5 inches narrowing to 5.5 inches wide x 3 inches deep with handle 5 inches deep

Condition: Missing chunk on the back short end and chipping of the wood on corners. Water staining on back. Some scuffing to the paint.
