Mounted on a flat ovale plinth of marble
Overall dimensions: 9.6 x 20 x 11 cm
The depiction goes back to a Roman copy of a bronze original in the Athena temple of Pergamon from 230/220 BC which was rediscovered during archaeological excavations and is nowadays preserved in the Capitoline Museums in Rome
