The plain black field is surrounded by a carved border of red chrysanthemums with black highlights, corners are dimpled & the flat edge is carved in a key motif, below to recessed apron continuing the chrysanthemum design rolling onto the curved shaped apron & is divided by carved molding, table raised on exaggerated S-shaped legs.

Age-related crack spanning width of top, light scuffing and nicking, otherwise presenting well with wear commensurate with age and use.
