Winchester Model 71 Lever Action Deluxe Rifle.

Serial no. 37745, 348 WCF, 24-inch round barrel with front and rear sight. Blued finish with checkered pistolgrip stock. Sling swivels. Williams receiver sight. P over W in oval on top of barrel and receiver. Manufactured in 1954.

Condition: Very good as configured. Gun has evidence of been cleaned and buffed. Retaining approximately 80-85% finish with touched up areas. Main areas of loss are receiver and tang. Buttplate with moderate wear, pitting and patina. Wood with mars, dents and light bubbling. Metal and wood parts have mold residue from storage. Action good. Bore is good, needs cleaning. Although classified as a Deluxe rifle, we believe gun did not start out as a deluxe rifle.
