U.S. Cavalry Colt Single Action Revolver Inspected by David F. Clark.
Serial no. 111821, .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with single line Hartford address. Left side of frame with 3-line patent dates. Cylinder is marked 1821. Frame is marked: DFC above 111821. Under ejector rod housing, barrel is marked: D.F.C. / P. Walnut grips. No cartouche present. Manufactured 1884. Together with Colt Factory Letter verifying configuration, also it states this gun is one in a shipment of 150 guns being delivered to the United States Government U.S. Inspector at the Colt Plant.

Condition: Good as partially refinished and cleaned. Some stamps might of been refreshed. Finish mostly a plum/brown finish with scattered minor areas of pitting. Barrel has been touched up. Frame has patches of fine pitting and signs of having been cleaned. Grips are fair with moderate scuffs, mars and bruising. Tracking line present. Marred screws. Action good. Bore ok.
