A Roman terracotta fragment depicting Isis and Horus, c. 1st – 2nd Century AD, seated on a large throne, the goddess depicted in Roman dress. The piece is well-preserved and in good style and probably is a decorative element of a pottery handle or lamp. H: 2 1/5 in (5.5cm). Mounted on a nice custom wood base. Ex collection of William Major Tedder.
