This early Trestle dining table was custom designed for Ardelle and Arthur Smilowitz in 1957. It features two solid book-matched slabs with sap grain details, numerous free edges, expressive figuring and five rosewood butterflies. Sold with a photocopy of the original drawing and a letter of authentication from Mira Nakashima.
Provenance: Acquired directly from the artist by Ardelle and Arthur Smilowitz
