A cavalry percussion pistol, dating: mid-19th Century, provenance: Prussia, dating: mid-19th Century, provenance: Prussia, Round, smooth, 16 mm cal. barrel with octagonal barrel and dated '1851' and with several stamps and numbers, provided with foresight and rings at the girdle. Tang with rear sight-notch. Forward spring lock marked 'Potsdam' undercrown and with mark 'G.S.', provided with secure-lock, at the outside of the piston. Wooden stock, brass mounts, trigger guard with finger support, mark 'U.9.4.E.18', butt-plate with ring for the strap. , length 40 cm.
