A cased pair of fine flintlock pocket pistols by Scott, dating: first quarter of the 19th Century, provenance: England, dating: first quarter of the 19th Century, provenance: England, Smooth, round, turn-off, iron, 12 mm cal. barrels, engraved at the nozzle and with stamp of the test bench; bronze frames signed 'D. SCOTT' and 'EDIN.R' among trophies, upper hammer with secure-lock with finishing; micro-checkered, drop-shaped butts, silver butt-plates engraved with floral motifs. Kept in a wooden box with green cloth lining and label 'David Scott Gunmaker Edinburgh'. The second compartment with several tools., length 16 cm.
