Derby Imari Soup Tureen and Twelve Plates. The deep well basin centering a big flowerheads in orange, blue and gold, enclosed by an outer band of alternating fishscale and orange scroll reserves enclosed cobalt leaf fronds, cobalt and gilt reciprocal border, handles and feet headed by lion head mask, terminating in paw feet, e crown and baton mark. Circa 1830. Dimensions of tureen 9 1/2 x 14 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches (24.1 x 35.5 x 24.1 cm); diameter of plates 8 inches (20.3 cm).
