Designed as a scarab with wings extended, a 7.9 mm round turquoise cabochon held at the top of its head, a 9.9 x 7.15 mm oval synthetic ruby cabochon at its base, the body accented by one sugarloaf sapphire, two round-cut pink sapphires, five round-cut green doublets and fourteen rose-cut diamonds, the wings further enhanced by six round turquoise cabochons and numerous rose-cut diamonds, completed by two round-cut pink sapphire eyes, set in a silver-topped, 14k yellow gold pendant brooch mounting measuring approximately 42 x 38 mm.
