Description
Mexican and American, 20th century. A group of two sterling silver ladies collar style necklaces comprising one Mexican necklace having 16 curved rectangular links each inlaid with tribal patterned abalone and silver, with hidden box clasp, underside marked "TAXCO MEXICO 925" beside an obscured second mark; and a heavy brushed sterling silver necklace, likely Native American, having 11 curving panels joined with narrow links with the five front panels each bearing incised lightning bolts, with hidden box clasp, signed indistinguishably to back of clasp, also marked ".925 S.S.". Abalone necklace approximate drop 6", length 16". Solid silver necklace approximate drop 6". Total approximate weight 134 grams.
