Henrik Thor-Larsen. 'Ovalia' easy chair with stool, 1968. Easy chair: H. 132 x 90 x 94 cm; stool: H. 41.5 cm, D. 59 cm. Made by Torlan, Staffanstorp, Sweden. Polyester, reinforced with Fiberglas, cast aluminium, orange/gold/brown textile cover. Built-in loudspeakers.

Condition

Very rare with fabric cover inside and outside. According to Mrs. Thor-Larsen, only 4 exemplars were made. One is still in the family's property, another one was sold to Australia. Provenance: Collection North-West-Germany, since 1994, before that, design dealer Malmoe before that; originally from the surroundings of the Thor-Larsen family.
