Additional information: Marc Bernheim was a 20th century art collector who collected mostly 18th century important French drawings and paintings. His collection mark of "MB" in a diamond shape can be found on various works he owned, some of which have been auctioned off throughout the world at Christie's, Sotheby's, Piasa, etc. Important works owned and sold by Bernheim have included - Watteau, Fragonard, Oudry, Robert, Nattier, and many others. Mr. Bernheim's collector mark has been identified and published on the website Marques Collections France (Lugt - L.3528).
