Description
Two-piece candle lantern lamp. Fine white porcelain. Hexagonal, bulbous shape. Pierced reticulation. All hand decorated with polychrome enamel ornamentation. Alternating blue and pink panels against a celadon-blue background, all with a medallion scene on each one - alternating between figural scenes and flower and bird motifs. Lantern, foliate and cloud motifs on the background ornamentation, as well as yellow and pink bands with flower blooms. Marked in a red character stamp on the underside. Also tagged by a previous gallery. Chinese export porcelain, circa 1880's. Measurements: Approx. 13.5" high together, 7.5" at widest x 7" overall.
