A PAIR OF VERY FINE FIGURAL LION GILT BRONZE ANDIRONS, 19TH CENTURY. Sculpted as seated lions with full wavy manes atop acanthus leaf embossed pedestal raised on three figural lion paw and claw feet. The andirons supports later removed. Height 20 inches (50.8 cm).
