B&W, c. 1950s-1960s. Nine (9) photographs. Vintage fiber-based silver gelatin prints. All but one full bleed. Collection of photographs of early NFL games, including but not limited to: the New York Giants in 1959, the Cleveland Browns in 1962 and 1964, the Green Bay Packers, the New York Giants, and Jim Brown in 1958. Some bear press stamp and/or photographer's stamp and pencil notations on verso; one bears crop marks for press use. All photographs signed in ink by Neil Leifer. Six 13 x 9in. Three 8 x 10in. Two 13.5 x 10.5 in. Condition issue: occasional light creasing.

The photographs in this auction have been examined by an expert, whose opinions pertaining to the age of the prints, the printing process, and the type of paper used, are included in the description of each photograph. Although Guernsey’s believes these descriptions to be accurate, interested buyers are urged to personally inspect the prints either at the public preview or by appointment with Guernsey’s. As with all items in this auction, all lots are being sold as is.
