Signed and inscribed in ink to Neil Leifer by photographer, "Boris Pasternak, Peredelkino, USSR October 1958. For Neil. That's about as Russian as they get. Best, J." 14 x 11in. Condition issue: Two creases in upper right quarter due to pressing; several creases (approximately 1in.) on right border; one crease (approximately 1in.) on left border; one tear (on border only, some paper loss, less than 1/2in. diameter).

The photographs in this auction have been examined by an expert, whose opinions pertaining to the age of the prints, the printing process, and the type of paper used, are included in the description of each photograph. Although Guernsey’s believes these descriptions to be accurate, interested buyers are urged to personally inspect the prints either at the public preview or by appointment with Guernsey’s.
