1950S CHINESE PROPAGANDA POSTER (PARTIAL)
Section of a 1950's-era Chinese political poster, 12 1/2" x 15", a depiction of an urban scene showing mass gatherings and demonstrations against Western imperialism and the U.S. Visible in the scene are various large billboards bearing anti-U.S. slogans, including: "American Imperialist, Get Out of Taiwan!", "American Imperialist is the Enemy of the People all Over the World", and "Smash American Imperialist's Plot to Wage Wars!" A worker at the center of the image waves a large "Red Guard" flag, as the crowd around him raise their fists and chant slogans. Folds, one small instance of paper loss at the fold. Set into a dark wood frame with a loose backing, else very good.
