All cloth dolls with a hard cloth-covered mask face with hand-painted features, blue eyes with highlights, eyeshadow, open/closed mouth with white space between lips, shaded cheeks and chin, one with painted hair and one with a human hair wig; both with tab-jointed shoulders and swivel hips; one is possibly originally dressed and one has vintage clothing. Reportedly made by victims of war after World War I, see Linda Edwards’ cloth doll book, p. 51. Construction very similar to Kathe Kruse dolls. Very interesting dolls! Each: 18'' T.
