Very rare and early doll made by Dean’s Rag Book Co. in England; all cloth with painted mask face and beautifully painted brown eyes, rosy cheeks, closed mouth, cloth body of blue checked fabric and legs of blue and white striped cotton, black shoes, all an integral part of her body; skirt matches body with added white apron and red felt cape. Original hang tag “Dean’s Hygienic Toys….” featuring a child with bunny and on the reverse “Welsh Girl.” Carrying a basket, also.
