1936. Doll is made from layers of fabric molded in a stem press. She seems to be composition but is actually layered cloth, and is hollow. She is featured in Nancy Lazenby’s Lenci dolls book on page 142 and described as “The rarest and most desirable Prosperity Baby is 13 inch Kiki #3, a wigged toddler made entirely of molded cloth that appears on a stand-alone catalog sheet from about 1936.” Kiki is featured on the cover of Doll News Fall 2006, as she caused a sensation in the UFDC modern competition room (magazine included). At that time she was the only know example of this doll in the United States. Kiki is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips and has a chubby toddler body; her character face features beautifully painted brown eyes, rosy cheeks and closed mouth with wide lips with original blonde mohair wig and hairbow; she is totally factory original with yellow organdy dress trimmed with felt flowers having Lenci silver label, matching undies and yellow felt shoes.
