Very early Bru of exceptional quality, very pale bisque, with back of head incised with "Moon & Crescent" mark and incised markings on the shoulder, one at each end, "Bru Jne" and "No. 6". She has an open/closed mouth with rarer molded upper teeth, very nice brown paperweight eyes, finely painted lashes and multistroke eyebrows, pierced earlobes. Bisque parts mounted on the original gusseted leather body with gusset joints at the hips and knees, with leather upper arms and bisque forearms with no apparent damage or restoration. She is wearing a lovely old blonde mohair wig over cork pate, a lace covered pleated blue silk dress and well-coordinated blue velvet bonnet, antique white knit stockings and the original brown leather shoes that are impressed on the soles "Bru Jne Paris 9". Some minor wear to the kid body, however in general it is still quite firm and maintains the scalloped edging at the top, which covered the edge of the shoulder plate. (Very Good). 20'' T.
