Unmarked bisque socket head with blue-grey paperweight eyes, well-defined ears, well-painted brows and lashes, and closed mouth with shaded lips. This doll is known to collectors as the "Portrait Jumeau". The head is on a separate bisque shoulder plate which is mounted to an all leather typical French fashion body with gusset joints at elbows, hips and knees. She has a later brown human hair wig, a white satin dress with lace overlay and a beige silk ribbon at the waist. Pate is missing, leather body especially on hands is worn and discolored, and there is an old faint hairline on the forehead above the right eye extending to the crown rim. (Good - Very Good). 26'' T.
