Exceptionally lovely Jumeau with head incised "DEPOSE E8J" with bulbous blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth with slight molded space between the lips, applied earlobes, on the original fully jointed French body made of wood and composition with straight wrists and fine original finish. She has been re-costumed by the previous owner in an elaborate costume made of green and gold silk and old beige lace with well-coordinated green silk hat, also wearing original blonde mohair wig over cork pate with antique black canvas shoes with flat soles. In addition, she has many of her original clothing consisting of a blue wool jacket and vest with braid trim, a red crocheted shawl, a red wool dress with feather stitching, and two separate silk dresses that can be worn in combination of other clothing. She also has some additional aprons, undergarments, and celluloid and wood brush and comb set. Contained in a metal wood and dome-topped period trunk with lithographed paper inside in rather good condition. She has been re-costumed by Ma Cooper. (Very Good). 18'' T.
