Antique 19th century Tibetan - Chinese gilt bronze figure of ARAMASUKHA-CHAKRA SAMVARA and his consort VAJRAVARAHI standing in ALIDHASANA on four copulating figures atop a lotus base. SHAMVARA multiple faces with a stunning three tiered headdress of masks and crowns. He has 32 arms with mudras or holding ritual objects. His consort holds two offerings. Wonderful gold gilt surface with blue details. Constructed of Movable pieces. Bequest of John Bass to the Bass Museum of Art collection. Good antique condition. Measures 17" x 9 1/2" x 5 1/2".
