TWO CHILDREN'S HOOP BACK WINDSOR CHAIRS, 19TH CENTURY, comprising one yew wood rocking chair, the subtle bentwood hoop with smooth tapering spindle supports, the curved median rail leading to the straight arms and flat rounded hand holds over a solid oval seat, ring and vase tuned legs, joined by an "H" form stretcher, ending in runners, height: 23 1/4", width: 17", depth: 20 1/2"; and an Elmwood chair, the tall hoop back with cylindrical smooth spindle supports, the thick curved median rail leading to rounded arms over a solid shaped seat, heightened on ring turned supports, joined by a turned "H" form stretcher, ending in blunt arrow feet, height: 27", width: 15 1/4", depth: 14 1/2".
Condition
