A late 19th century Austrian silver and enamel timepiece, unmarked, circa 1885, in the 16th century style, with an eagle displayed finial, the oval case painted with the Rape of the Sabine Women on the reverse and a classical figural scene within, the champleve enamel dial with Roman numerals in roundels, the earlier fusee movement signed Norton London, all on two winged cherub heads and a camel support, on a domed base painted with classical figures, 16cm (6 1/4in) high
