A 19TH CENTURY CHINESE CANTON IVORY & PAINTED FEATHER FAN, the guard sticks carved in deep relief with diminutive figures on terraces, the feathers painted with a figural riverside scene within butterflies and foliage, approx. 17.75in wide when open, the guard sticks 10.1in long; together with a 19th Century lacquered wood and painted paper fan, the paper mount painted with a figural terrace scene, the figures faces formed from onlaid painted ivory, approx. 19.5in wide when open, the guard sticks 11in long.
