Likely 19th century, with spurious blue underglaze Royal Vienna-style ''beehive'' mark, gilt decorator's mark in the style of Sevres decorator Nicolas Catrice (1757-74), the oblong dual-handled waved-rim white porcelain monteith painted with floral sprays, fitted with an inset painted copper bouquet with Vincennes-style hard-paste porcelain flower heads, 12.125'' H x 11.5'' W x 9.25'' D, est: $500/700

Condition
Overall good condition, with scattered scuffs and scratches commensurate with age. Scattered flower heads deficient; scattered nicks and losses to flowers commensurate with age. Metal flower stems have been re-painted; scattered paint splatter to rim of monteith. Base with four drill holes for metal insert.
