Officine Panerai’s heritage starts in 1860 with Giovanni Panerai, who opened a watchmaker shop in Florence, Italy. Panerai first started supplying precision instruments to the Italian Navy thanks to his own developed low-light luminescent. This also set the stage for one of Panerai’s most well-known collections, the Luminor. It wasn’t until 1993 that these timepieces were made available for commercial sale. Since then, the brand was acquired by Richemont and has developed tremendously, manufacturing a wide range of in-house movements and timepieces that embody the original military style Panerai was known for. Size and weight may deviate from the manufacturer’s indication. All watches are hand-measured and weighed.
