Description
6th-3rd century BC. A bronze fibula formed as a boar modelled in the round with notch detailing to the snout and flanks, pierced lobe to the rear leg to accept a pin, catchplate to the foreleg extending to the snout, pin absent. 16 grams, 46mm (1 3/4"). From the private collection of a German gentleman; acquired prior to 1999.
