Waylon Jennings Personally Owned Monochrome Print by Bill Rains From Jennings' Home in Brentwood, Tennessee W/COA - This piece is a 10" x 13" monochrome print by Bill Rains, titled "The Makin's of a Cowboy." The piece depicts a young cowboy, who is practicing his riding in a saddle. The print comes from the Brentwood, Tennessee home of Waylon Jennings. The print is in good condition, and has been stored in a plastic bag for protection. The piece will come with a certificate of authenticity. Please note: there is a bend in the print in the upper left corner. Bill Rains is a sculptor from Montana, known for his larger-than-life bronze statues of Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, Buck Owens, and others. Waylon Jennings (1937-2002) was an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. Jennings began playing guitar at eight and began performing at 14 on the radio. He joined the Outlaw Country movement during the 1970's, and later joined the country supergroup The Highwaymen With Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash. He also appeared in movies and tv series, and in 2001 was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
