A Roman Denarius of Marc Antony and a British token. Lot includes a silver Legionary Denarius of Marc Antony, c. 32 – 31 BC, representing Legion XXI, (18mm,3.28g), the second coin is an English copper token by Thomas Kettle depicting Louis the XVIII, Obv. Uniformed bust of Louis XVIII, bare head left. LOUIS XVIII RESTOD MAR 31 1814 laurel branches below. Rev. Inscription within sprays of palm and laurel BY / THE.UNITED / EFFORTS / OF / ENGLAND / AND.ITS / ALLIES. BHM#801; Batty 4416B. (25mm, 4.53g). Ex Southern California private collection.
