Chinese Porcelain Table Snuff Bottle, 19th c., with painted deer and bat decoration, the underside signed and painted with deer, with a coral bead stopper, H.- 4 7/8 in., Dia.- 2 1/4 in. Provenance: The Estate of James C. Westerfield, Jackson, Mississippi.
Condition
Condition consistent with age. Four flea-size circular chips and brown discoloration on the lid rim. Two flea-size chips in the coral top. Light wear throughout and moderate wear to bat figures. Approximately 12 minute brown firing flaws along top. An exquisite example.
