Chinese Oval Flat Baluster Porcelain Vase, 19th c., with figural and landscape decoration, now mounted as a lamp on a wooden base, H.- 13 1/4 in., Dia.- 5 1/2 in. Provenance: The Estate of James C. Westerfield, Jackson, Mississippi.
Condition
Condition consistent with age and use. A repair on an approximate 2 inch crack on the rim. A ¼ inch loss at the end of the crack. One pea-size and two flea-size brown discolorations near bottom edge of one scene. Paint losses throughout figures' clothing and at the top of the sky in each scene. An intriguing piece.
