This 1882 Exhibition celebrated the 100th year since the establishment of the city of Bangkok as the capitol of Siam. The original booklet states, "Å“H.M. the King has graciously appointed Princes and Officers with specific duties to collect together articles in the Capitol and in the provinces and tastefully arrange them in groups to be placed in exhibition. These have made up 54 groups as follows: 1. Artistic and Scientific/2. Painting and Drawings......"
