Description
PATENTED JEWELER'S / BARBER'S MINIATURE SINGEING LAMPS, LOT OF TWO, cobalt blue, comprising an eight-sided example with tapered shoulder, underside of base embossed "PAT JUNE 26, 1883"; and a ball-form fitted in a nickel-finish stand, shoulder embossed "PAT SEP. 14.1880 AND MARCH 14TH 1893; period collars. Each fitted with a period single-tube burner including one with an attached chain and cap. Fourth quarter 19th century. 3 1/4" to 4 3/4" H to top of collars, 2 1/2" to 3 1/4" D stand foot.
Ball-form example undamaged, stand with some light corrosion, eight-sided example with a minute spot of roughness to one edge of pattern. Burners undamaged.
