The Chinese porcelain bowls delicately potted with round sides raising toward slightly flared rim from a narrow concaved foot base. The exterior rich decorated with famille rose hand painting of bright colorful peonies against geometrical floral pattern and dot diaper, all set over a pale-turquoise-blue ground. banded with interlocking ruyi pattern on rim, and upward petal lappets on the foot. Attractive gilt overglaze ring painted on upper mouth rim. Both porcelain rice bowls are displayed upon carved hardwood stands.

Mark on base, a seal mark, of six blue script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing.
