Description
Mexico, 1945 CE. These Dos Pesos gold coins were produced in Mexico from 1919-1948; this one was minted in 1945. They contain .0482 troy ounces of .900 fine gold. One side shows the denomination with a wreath; the other shows the coat of arms of Mexico, with the eagle devouring a snake as it perches atop a cactus. Here the coin is set into a 14k gold frame and hung from a simple black cord. Size: 26.5" L x 0.8" W (67.3 cm x 2 cm)
